The board will meet on Tuesday, April 17, tax day, from noon to one, at the University Club. Board meetings are open to all members. The meeting place for the Active Day Meeting on April 12, is the Santa Monica Creek Trail Beautification Project in Carpinteria, located at the west end of El Carro, as shown on the map below. We'll be weeding around recently planted native plants. To get there from Santa Barbara, travel south on 101, exit Carpinteria Avenue. Turn left at the light. Then travel straight, past the stop sign, to El Carro where you turn left. Proceed to the end of the street. RSVP with Ray Kolbe at (805) 705-3429 for lunch. Brings shovels, rakes, hoes, and gloves if you can.
